After qualifying as a Consultant Radiologist, Damon completed two year-long fellowships in musculoskeletal radiology. The first in Perth, focusing on hospital-based orthopaedic imaging and nerve interventions. The second, in Melbourne at Imaging@Olympic Park, provided advanced training in sports injuries and musculoskeletal interventions under A/Professor David Connell.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Damon specializes in imaging sports and muscle injuries. He has served as attending physician at the UCI Mountain Biking World Championships, cycling medic at multi-day mountain biking events, and attending radiologist at the 2022 Bledisloe Cup in Melbourne. He was also part of the radiology team for the Wallabies at the 2023 Rugby World Cup and provided remote support for the 2024 Olympics.

With a background in regional anaesthesia, Damon is passionate about nerve imaging, nerve blocks, and pain management. He was invited as a keynote speaker at the Australian Sonographers Conference 2024, where he led talks and workshops on nerve imaging and entrapment.
